Bestari Markets Ltd. ("Bestari Markets", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and other applicable Canadian laws.

1. Information we collect

• Identity information: name, date of birth, address, occupation, and details of identification documents.
• Contact information: email address, phone number and mailing address.
• Transaction information: amounts, currencies, recipients, purpose of transactions, source of funds, bank account details and virtual currency wallet addresses.
• Website information: basic technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, collected through server logs.

2. Why we collect it

• To provide the services you request.
• To verify your identity and meet our obligations under the Proceeds of Crime (Money Laundering) and Terrorist Financing Act, including record keeping and reporting to FINTRAC.
• To detect and prevent fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing and sanctions violations.
• To respond to your enquiries and communicate with you about your transactions.

3. Disclosure

We do not sell personal information. We may share it with service providers that help us operate (such as banking partners, payment processors and identity verification providers) under contractual confidentiality obligations; with FINTRAC, law enforcement or other authorities where the law requires; and with professional advisers. Some service providers may store or process information outside Canada, where it may be subject to the laws of that jurisdiction.

4. Retention

We keep client and transaction records for at least five years, or longer where the law requires. After that, we securely destroy or anonymize them.

5. Safeguards

We protect personal information with physical, organizational and technical safeguards appropriate to its sensitivity, including access controls and encryption in transit.

6. Your rights

You may request access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you. Some information may be withheld where the law requires or permits, for example where disclosure would reveal that a report was filed with FINTRAC.

7. Cookies

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address.
